About Rev. William Jewell
In 2000 I was ordained by Reunion Ministries as an interfaith minister. My ministerial activities since then have been officiating mostly weddings but also memorial services and providing counseling. I was raised in and was taught Catholicism through college and found that I leaned in a broader sense towards interfaith beliefs and practices. My training and broad international travels have aided greatly in respecting other faiths and traditions as well as my experience in interfaith, not just my own life but also in the ceremonies I have been honored to officiate. It brings me joy to aid in designing with you your ideal wedding ceremony with prayer, scripture, blessings and spiritually symbolic practices. I especially appreciate working directly with the bride and groom to design the wedding they dreamed of. Whether you wish a traditional or non-traditional ceremony, it is my goal that, years from now, you will remember your wedding as a big part of a beautiful day. I am comfortable performing non-religious as well as religious ceremonies dependent on your wishes. I do not require religious counseling before your ceremony but will assist and provide guidance if that is your wish.
Born in California, I was raised mostly in northern New Jersey. After my father was transferred to Saudi Arabia in the oil business, I attended and graduated from Notre Dame International School for Boys in Rome, Italy. I attended Santa Clara University in California before volunteering for the Air Force where I served honorably. Since then, my career has spanned engineering and project management to strategic marketing with several U.S. corporations as well as two foreign companies, one in Denmark and the other in France where I met my wife of 20 years. My extensive international experience has given me a strong interest in different cultures as well as a range of religious practices. I love the outdoors and take much pleasure in spiritual studies and practice.
